Bringing the same energy and passion she shares at home as a mom, wife, and friend, Dr. Fischer enriches every patient interaction with her expertise as an orthodontist, creating a welcoming environment at the office. She is enthusiastic when discussing teeth, loves being an orthodontist, and treats each individual with the utmost care, mirroring the attention she would give her own loved ones. Dr. Fischer has been a dedicated private practice orthodontist in San Diego since 2016. She is thrilled to have created her own space where she can fulfill her vision to ensure her patients receive the highest level of personalized attention in our boutique, private practice haven.
Dr. Fischer’s educational journey began with undergrad at the University of Michigan, followed by dental school at UCLA. After graduating in the top of her class and being inducted in the national dental honor society, Dr. Fischer was selected to train at the University of Michigan’s three year orthodontic residency program. Founded over a century ago, Michigan’s Orthodontic Department has a distinguished history in academics, research and clinical excellence. It is here that Dr. Fischer completed her orthodontic training along with her Master’s of Science where she defended her thesis on three-dimensional radiographic analysis of underbite growth patterns.
After graduating, Dr. Fischer became board certified with the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction earned by fewer than half of all orthodontists. This certification recognizes her dedication to achieving excellence through a rigorous, voluntary multi-day examination process.
Dr. Fischer and her husband Jordan first met during middle school in the lakeside community of Grand Haven, Michigan. Their shared academic pursuits led them on multiple cross-country moves, celebrating their wedding along the way in their hometown, and eventually settling in north county San Diego. Together, they find joy in raising their children, Torren and Camdyn, and their rescue pup, Nollie. Outside of professional commitments, Dr. Fischer enjoys downtime with loved ones, whether playing at the beach, downhill skiing , or exploring California’s landscapes. She finds joy in life’s simple moments, striving to live in the present and cherish each day as a gift.
